Presented on a gessoed wooden board, the image consists of hand painted faces of the former. Riveted to the board is a silvered brass riza featuring the robes of Christ and Mary executed in detail, complete with ribbed halos. Mary holds an orb in her right hand, while Christs right hand rests upon the top, symbolizing his receipt of authority. Four side rivets secure the riza to the board,
