2023 Hugo Mendes Skin-Fermented Arinto, Portugal VB Event 11.02.23 VINIFICATION: Crushing with partial destemming100% Arinto fermented and aged on the skins for about 6 months, but don't let the length of time on the skins fool you, this is a bright, lightly textured curtimenta that is using its phenolic richness to balance out Arinto's natural wealth of acidity, all while retaining the mineral purity of a fantastic white wine. I'm not sure how he strikes that balance. Like I said, wizard.
